Not quite the budget airline travel frenzy over Europe, but anyone in NZ who wants to join the ‘got some time, but don’t know where to go jet-set’ may find some cheap seats here. For example, Christchurch to Wanaka (Wed 25th April) return (Sun 29th April) $98 return. Not bad for an Autumn break around beautiful Lake Wanaka.
It seems a distant prospect humankind being able to reconcile our apparent insatiable desire for travel with the needs of the planet…
We will just have to invent a different fuel or something. If I had a scientific bone in my body I might try…
By the way – I’m not sure I like how we can’t read the whole of your entry at once – clicking on the ‘read more’ or whatever it says can be a bit annoying, particularly when it’s not even broken at a paragraph or if it’s only one more sentence – has anyone else mentioned that to you?
Then again – they do say you can’t please everyone…
The ‘read more’ is triggered by a simple character count – I could add a hundred or so and then short posts would appear in full.
Cheers.
Hi Stephen,
You may be interested in a new site I have just started called The Deal Finder which checks the Grab A Seat site and alerts you when a deal comes up that matches your criteria. Saves having to check the site constantly.
We all have a desire to travel I think (well I do!) but you are right, how do we limit our impact? We can get some big wins by using public transport, building efficient homes, etc.
PLEASE LET ME KNOW CHEAP AIR FARES AUCKLAND NELSON BOTH WAYS, AS I TRAVELALOT TO AUCKALND FROM NELSON
There is another site out there that I had to start using once thedealfinder stopped working. Thedealfinder says it “my be back” on its website. I got tired of waiting and now use http://www.dealspotter.co.nz which sends out flights, prices, and seat numbers every monring at 7:00am on the dot without fail. I have booked me any a cheap deal!
i always prefer to travel using those budget Airline travel, they seem to have some good service too..”.
